Getting Started

Getting started with Asisto is quick and easy. Follow these steps to have your AI receptionist answering calls in no time.

Step 1: Create Your Account#

1. Visit asisto.com and click Get Started
2. Sign up with your email or Google/Microsoft account
3. Verify your email address

Step 2: Business Profile#

Tell us about your business so your AI receptionist can represent you properly:

• Business Name — How callers should know your business
• Business Category — Select your industry (dental, legal, automotive, etc.)
• AI Voice — Choose from natural-sounding voice options
• Greeting Style — Professional, friendly, or casual tone
• Language — Primary language for your receptionist

Step 3: Add Your Locations#

Set up each of your business locations:

• Address — Full street address for directions
• Time Zone — Ensures accurate appointment scheduling
• Business Hours — When you're open each day of the week
• Fallback Phone — Where urgent calls should be transferred

You can add multiple locations if you have more than one office.

Step 4: Configure Services#

List the services you offer:

• Service Name — What you call this service
• Duration — How long appointments typically last
• Price — Optional pricing information
• Intake Questions — Questions the AI should ask callers when booking this service

Example intake questions:

• "Is this your first visit with us?"
• "Do you have insurance?"
• "What's the nature of your visit?"

Step 5: Add Your Team#

Add staff members who can be assigned to appointments:

• Name — Staff member's name
• Role — Their position or specialty
• Services — Which services they can perform
• Locations — Which locations they work at

Staff calendars sync with Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar to prevent double-bookings.

Step 6: Get Your Phone Number#

We'll provision a phone number for your AI receptionist. You can:

• Get a new local number in your area
• Port an existing number to Asisto
• Forward your current number to your Asisto number
